It is our policy to ensure that each employee accepts their legal and moral responsibilities with regard to upholding safety issues in the workplace.

The company safety officer carries out periodic Site Audits and Inspections, these are impromptu and unscheduled but will not be at intervals greater than one month.
The main purpose of the audits is to ensure that safety standards are being maintained and our legislative obligations are being met on all sites under our control. Given the diversity of locations and types of industry that Riverside Mechanical maintain a presence in, ranging from commercial to potentially explosive environments.
Hazard audits are carried out regularly to help identify hazards which could result in injury, illness to employees, damage to property or risk to the general public.
Any non-conformances identified during these audits require corrective action to be implemented not longer than 14 days after the audit. It is the responsibility of the contracts manager to ensure that all corrective actions are implemented promptly.
A safe working environment promotes job satisfaction, less accidents and ill health and the direct result of this is a better service to the customer and ultimately a successful completion of the company's activities.
